Redfern was the spiritual home away from home in Sydney this Queenslander didn’t know he’d been missing.
Sadly I’d moved on mere months before the South Sydney Rabbitohs secured their fairytale premiership in 2014, but not before I’d taken a walk around the neighbourhood which was at the time being showcased – warts and all – on the excellent ABC drama Redfern Now.
