Ricky Stuart is a legend of the Canberra Raiders, the NRL club I’ve supported since 1987. He’s bled more green for the jersey than I ever did, which is quite impressive considering I spend most weekends of spring and winter bleeding out for them after yet another soul-crushing loss.
Strangely, his coaching record since returning to Canberra (5 seasons, 1 finals campaign, dozens of narrow losses) rarely attracts any serious media scrutiny.
So I scrutinised him, in a return to the The Roar after a two-year absence.
