When I booked tickets to see Metallica in Abu Dhabi, I didn’t expect I’d end up watching the first three songs from the photo pit.
Thanks to the wonders of Couchsurfing, I touched base with a local Metallica fan who also happened to be a journo.
One thing led to another, and after photography duties were done we watched the rest of the gig from side of stage. Life sure does have its moments.
