The Drop was officially sent into orbit with a pair of great little launch parties on the last two Saturdays of February. Thanks to echo&bounce and The QUIVR (Brisbane) and Cottonmouth Records (Sydney) for hosting, DJs Fergus Alexander, Cosmo Cater, Scott Walker, Damian Wheeler, Timmy T and Andrew Wowk for supplying the soundtrack, and everyone who came down to celebrate.

Some scenes from both launches below, including a surprise cameo from Australian dance music royalty. Scroll further for all of the Brisbane DJ sets, which are now up on SoundCloud (interspersed with some readings from the novel), and the full video stream of the Brisbane launch. More than 2200 viewers have watched the stream at the time of writing, with comments coming in from Brisbane, Sydney, Gosford, a quarantine hotel in Darwin, Tokyo, Delhi, Bangalore and London across the day.

The Drop is on sale now via echo&bounce’s online store (signed copies shipped worldwide). It’s also in store at echo&bounce (5D Winn Lane, Fortitude Valley) and Gleebooks (49 Glebe Point Road, Glebe), online via Booktopia (AU/NZ) and Amazon (worldwide), and for eBook readers on AppleBooktopiaKindle and Kobo.

Readings lined up with classic tracks played on the day.
